She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gray and Allie Mathis Gray; her husband Clifton Hendley; her daughter Janice Hendley; her granddaughter Katie Hendley; and her siblings, Annie McNabb, T. J., Lafon and Vernon Gray.
She is survived by: her sons, David Hendley (Carolyn) of Nashville and Wayne Hendley (Carol) of Nashville; her grandchildren, Shae Shepard (David) of Nashville, Leslie Montgomery of Nashville, Cliff Hendley (Mandy) of Nashville, Lance Hendley (Caroline) of Nashville and Lyle Hendley (Kayla) of Nashville; and her sister Nell Pittman of Fernandina Beach, FL.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children' s Research Hospital or Riverside Missionary Baptist Church.
