He is survived by: his wife Christina DeLeon Smith of Nashville; his children, Sean Gregory Smith of Nashville, Alexander Christine Smith of Nashville, Jeremy Smith of Iron Station, NC and Mandy Smith of Iron Station, NC; his adoptive daughter Victoria Evans of Guam; and his siblings, Kay Frazier (Terry) of Nashville, Richard Smith (Elizabeth) of Fitzgerald and Joe Yother of Dalton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
