She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wallace Newbern and Gladys Tucker Newbern; her stepgranddaughter Brooke Chivers; and her brother Buddy Newbern. She is survived by: her husband William Don Chivers of Nashville; her son Koven Luke (Janice) of Adel; her grandson Kasey Luke (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Hansley Faith Luke and Addie Leigh Luke; her stepchildren, Billy Chivers (Jennifer) of Nashville, TN and Becky Shuburt (Ted) of Valdosta; and her stepgrandsons, Scotty Shuburt and Teddy Shuburt.
