He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel P. Nicholson and Elizabeth Nicholson; and his sister Jane Cersey. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Gaddis of New York, Shawna Akins of Maryland, Allen Ray of Valdosta, Diana Ray of Nashville and Lynn Ray of Fl; and his significant other Don Exum of Blakley, GA.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four nephews, and two nieces.
