He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Stone and Cora Lee McMillian Stone; and his siblings, Elizabeth Gray, Robert Stone, Leroy Stone, Billy Joe Stone and Laverne Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Moats Stone of Nashville; his children, Regina Stalnaker (Bobby) of Nashville, Buddy Stone (Candy) of Nashville and Steve Stone (Judy King) of Nashville; and his siblings, Betty Godwin of Sylvester and Jesse Stone (Sue) of Nashville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639).
