He was predeceased by: his parents, Talley Fountain and Letha Register Fountain; his wife Orpha Studstill Fountain; and his sister Louise O'Brien. He is survived by: his children, Bart Fountain of Nashville and Darla Fountain of Nashville; his siblings, Edna Fountain McMillan of Enigma and Edward Fountain of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Denise Tammen (David), Rebecca Arnold (Michael Hale), Rachael Arnold, Rayna Arnold and Max Lewis Fountain; and his great grandchildren, Tripp Tammen, Noah Fountain, William Arnold, Dustinn Perry and Emmett Hale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Lois Community Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the New Lois Community Methodist Church.
