She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan White and Ruby Lee Benefield; her daughter Gail Thompson; her sisters, Mildred Warren and Sherlie Couch; and her grandson Shane Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Crosby (John) of Nashville, Debora Cook (Ronnie) of Lakeland and Mike Thompson (Rhonda) of Nashville; and her siblings, Martha Mingo of Waycross and Revis Benefield of Lake Placid, FL. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
