We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021, at the age of 86, Joyce Flanders of Nashville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Avera and Sarah Bennett Avera; her husband Lewis Edwin Flanders; her son Lewis Keith Flanders; and her sister Virginia Luke.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Flanders of Nashville, Karen McEldowney (late Jason) of Nashville and Gabe Flanders (Darlene) of Hartley, TX; her grandchildren, Travis Harper (Kimberly Sumner), Heidi Brown (late Jessie), Dawn Walker (Josh), Larry Godwin (Ellen), David Godwin (Tonya), Denise Harrell (Larry Wayne), Dakota Flanders (Kayla), Brandon Flanders (Megan), Amanda Coody (Blake) and Mercedes Miller; and her pet Ali. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; companion.
