He is survived by: his mother Loretha Nelms Cersey of Nashville; his children, Carrie Vickers (Eric) of Collins, Ashley Crews (Chad) of Nashville, Chris Cersey of Valdosta and Nick Cardin (Jessica) of Adel; his sister Joy Gaskins of Nashville; and his nephew Nick Gaskins of Nashville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
