He was predeceased by: his parents, Esau James Whidden and Mary Ethel Long Whidden; and his brother Johnny Whidden. He is survived by: his wife Sue Whidden of Nashville; his children, Lee Whidden (Dana) of Hahira, Lou Parker Scott (Drew) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Perrin Shaw of Roswell and Page Henderson (Matt) of Roswell; and his siblings, Anne Young of Las Vegas, NV and Jack Whidden of Morehead, KY. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
