He was predeceased by: his daughter Debbie Becker; his grandson Jonathan Chriswell; and his mother Edna Tyler. He is survived by: his wife Betty Tyler of Nashville; and his children, James Tyler, Jr, Willie Tyler (Patti) of Guillver, Edna Tyler Randall of Hesperia, Jesse Tyler (Shelby) of Nashville, Dawn Daniels (Andy) of Nashville, Shawn Tyler (Roxanne) of Nashville, Sherry Tyler (Ricky) of Nashville, Jeannie Courtoy (Greg) of Tifton and Jack Tyler (Michelle) of Moultrie. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four brothers, and five sisters.
