He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie B. Morton and Myrtle Ivella Windsor Morton; and his children, Sandy Morton, Tammy Faye Brooks and Randy Morton.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna Jo Durrance Morton of Nashville; and his children, Gwendolyn Denise Ray (Richard) of Ray City, Penny Kay Nugent (Roger) of Alapaha and Timothy Ray Morton (Guille) of Nashville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
