In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jackie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Jackie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Washington Clanton and Thelma Rutherford Clanton; and his wife Kathryn Harrell Clanton. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Walker (Tim) of Lenox, Wendy Glisson (Wes) of Valdosta, Jason Clanton (Marie) of Nashville, Scott Clanton (Becky) of Nashville, Aaron Clanton (April) of Nashville and Marty Gray of Nashville. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Nashville Church of God (1251 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hospice of Tiftarea.
