He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Watson and Addie Fountain Watson; his wife Alice Emogene Rowan Watson; his grandson Jason Watson; and his siblings, Christine Outlaw, Lucille Poole and Sam Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Morgan (Harvey) of Nashville, Ann Vickers of Nashville and Jimmy Watson (Joanna) of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Mark Morgan (Sylena), Terry Morgan (Leigh), Becky Rogers, Sherry Carver (Silas), James Watson, Denita Davis (Eric), Bradley Vickers (Erin), Cynthia Vickers and Ericka Pittman. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
