We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2021, at the age of 90, Helen Rowan Rhodes of Nashville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Edward Rhodes; her parents, John Cornelius and Lena Belle Rowan; her daughter Susan Elaine Rhodes; her son-in-law John Strickland; her siblings, Donald Rowan, Dorothy Drake and Frances Griffin; her niece Diana Moore; and her nephew Johnny Drake.
She is survived by: her daughter Carole Rhodes Strickland; her granddaughters, Leslie Michelle James (Jim) and Amy Strickland Baggett (Jarrett); her sister Patricia Rowan Ford; her great grandchildren, Reese, Chandler, Knox, Jax, Justin James and Chyna Bright (Ryan); her great great grandchild Emery; her nieces, Gail Dismuke and Sharon Dodds; and her nephew Michael Ford. She is also survived by 13 great nieces/nephews and 20 great-great nieces/nephews.
