She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Bachelor and Alma Lee Jackson Bachelor; her husband Howard Eubanks Yancey; her son Howard E. "Chip" Yancey, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Hannah Clayton and Andrew Clayton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Sutton (Curvis) of Valdosta and Mary Howard Clayton (Thomas) of Ray City; her daughter-in-law Carol Yancey of Nashville; her grandchildren, Banks Yancey, Sarah Ray (Clint) and Lee Anna Parker (Dale); her great grandchildren, Andrew, Isaac, Susanna, Abby, Davis and Eli; and her brother Curtis Bachelor of Fort Payne.
