He is survived by: his wife Patricia Pierce Nielsen of Nashville; his children, Cynthia Tomes (George) of China Grove, TX, Buster Nielsen of Nashville and John Trout (Linda) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Kimberly Crawford (Jeffrey), Trey Tomes (Sara), Jonathan Tomes (Shawna) and Stephen Tomes (Faith); and his great grandchildren, Alex, Aubri, Janie, George and Rosie.
