He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Brogdon and Gladys Nix Brogdon; his wife Alma Dotson Brogdon; his grandsons, Paxton Griffin and Michael Brogdon; and his brothers, Billy Brogdon, Terrell Brogdon and Vinson "Cotton" Brogdon.
He is survived by: his children, Abbey Griffin (Darryl) of Nashville, Delbert Brogdon of Nashville and Taylor Brogdon of Adel; his siblings, Mildred Hall of Nashville, Betty Sumner of Nashville, George Brogdon of Nashville and Jerry Brogdon of Nashville; his grandchildren, McKenzie Griffin and Lisa Warren Brogdon; and his great grandchildren, Eli and Alora. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
