It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Marie Varner of Nashville, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence "Ray" Varner; her sister Jean Sharp; her brother-in-law Jack Sharp; her brother James Simmons; her children, John Varner and Jill Denman; her son-in-law Victor Lanigan; and her granddaughter Tonya Denman.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ann Smith (Eddie), Lorrie Lanigan, Donna Nelson, Bobbi King (Brett), Tommy Varner (Bonnie) and Duane Varner (Juli); her niece Belinda Nasco; and her grandchildren, Mandi Alford (Fred), Christi Payne (Lance), Steven Lanigan (Heather), Amber Lanigan (Jason), Nathan Nelson, Deanna Schuler (Wade), Greg Varner (Kelly), Allan Varner, Alaina Clemons (Kieron), Melissa Lowe (Andre), Eric Varner, Abbey Varner, Alex Loper, Kaity Loper-Moore (Megan), Ryan King (Brittani), Blue Varner, Charles Hartley, Austin Hartley (Tasha), Dallas Hartley (Alisha), Jessie Varner, Brandy Varner, Bradley Varner, Randy Varner, Finley Varner, Rhett Varner (Candice), Thomas Varner and Ray Varner. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
