He is survived by: his wife Jean Blanton Smith of Nashville; his sons, Dennis Smith of Nashville and Terry Smith (Deanna) of Valdosta; his siblings, Caroline Sutton of Nashville and James Smith of Nashville; his grandchildren, Derek Smith (Kaylea) of Nashville, Deanna Kusmisz (Joe) of Roswell, Laura Smith of Valdosta, Tara Smith of Valdosta and Katie Smith of Valdosta; and his great grandchildren, Damon, Anslie, Whalen, Lelyn and JoJo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
