In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Doris leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Doris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Monk and Dorothy Mae Watson Monk; her daughter Shanna Samples Lewis; and her brother Irie Monk. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Samples of Nashville; her sister Wanda Fannon of Nashville; her granddaughter Ansley Lewis of Nashville; and her son-in-law Andy Lewis of Nashville.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Nashville Church of God (1251 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nashville Church of God.
