She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Connell and Lenora Giddens Connell; and her husband Albert Lee "Al" Tomlinson. She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn Danforth (P. H.) of West Berrien, Rev. Jackie Connell of Tifton, Jeston Connell (Fay) of West Berrien and Jason Connell (Evonne) of Tifton; and her stepson Jacob Owens of Hahira.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church or GA Sheriff's Boys Ranch.
