He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Lee Hand and Marie Hand (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Wadeen Hand; his sons, Wes Hand and Wade Hand (Beth); his grandchildren, Jackson Wade Hand, Sammy Lee Hand (Kendryck) and Maggie Rose Hand (Landen Woody); his siblings, Bill Hand Crawfordville (Zoe) and Barbara Hand Starling of Nashville, GA.; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Wood Coley (Willard) and Mike Wood (Jackie Gardner Wood) of Milledgeville, GA.; and his nephews, Ryan Hand of Gray, GA and Matthew Starling (Tara) of Nashville, GA..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to UF Health Neuromedicine-Fixel Institute, 3009 SW Williston Road, Gainesville, FL or charity of choice.
