He is survived by: his wife Sheila Cooksey Leavens of Nashville; his daughter Jackie Jordan of Nashville; his grandson Joseph Owen Jordan of Valdosta; his siblings, Jimmie Sue Crumbley of Adel and Wally Leavens of Adel; and his siblings-in-law, Bessie Leavens of Ivy, Rachel Cooksey of Nashville and Gary Cooksey (JoAnna) of Adel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
