He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clifford Hogan and Eleanor Hall Hogan; his son Jimmy Hogan; and his sister Joan Howell. He is survived by: his wife Faye Hogan of Nashville; his children, Michelle Phillips (Kenneth) of Enigma, Damon Hogan, Jr. of Morven and Michael Hogan (Cathy) of Enigma; his grandchildren, Jason Hogan, Amanda Griffin (Todd), Alexandria Hogan, Jordan Phillips, Landry Hogan, Aubrey Phillips and Makayla Hogan; and his great grandchildren, Noah Hogan, Brandon Hogan, Harmony Hogan, Tate Franklin, Remy Griffin, Ryder Griffin, Brinleigh Hogan, Everleigh Sabin, Matthew Gonzales, Kaleb Phillips and Leighlan Phillips.
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, a private family graveside service will be held Wednesday April 29, 2020 in Nashville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mark Swain and the Rev. Gary James officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Flat Creek Youth Ministries.
