He is survived by: his children, Alyssia McAvoy of Nashville, Taiilor McAvoy of Michigan, Ali Jade Muniz of New Jersey, Declan Rentz of Tennessee and Tyler McAvoy of Ray City; his mother Melodie Vowell of Nashville; his sisters, Crystal Harper of Nashville, Lynzee Lawson of Nashville and Jennifer Simpson (John) of Mims, FL; and his grandchildren, Ariyah, Dalilah, Kaizen and Everleigh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
