With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Simpson of Nashville, Georgia, born in Williamstown, Kentucky, who passed away on July 9, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Simpson and Margaret Coleman Simpson; his wife Maggie Goad Simpson; and his siblings, Mildred Long, Rose Strong, Betty Goble, Leroy, Glenn, Bobby Eugene, Paul, Billy and Fred W. (Howard Simpson).
He is survived by: his children, Connie Shelton of Frankfort, KY, Keith Simpson (Shawna) of Franklin, TN, John Simpson of Dry Ridge, KY, Scott Evans (May) of Ocala, Jay Evans (Missy) of Nashville and Jamey Evans (Dana); and his siblings, Margorie Harris (Doc) of Murfreesboro, TN, Joyce Miller of Crittenden, KY, Virgil Simpson (Faye) of Hollywood, FL, Larry Simpson of Williamstown, KY and David Simpson (Joan) of Independence, KY. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
