She is survived by: her husband Bobby Nix; her children, John Nix (Heather) of Nashville, Jay Nix (Cathy) of Nashville and Kelly Nix of Valdosta; her siblings, Joe Parker of Denver, Jimmy Barber of Columbus, Larry Barber of Nashville and Debbie Parker of Denver; and her grandchildren, Parker Nix (Allie) of Bluffton, Blake Fountain of Atlanta, Zane Bowman of Nashville, Merilogan Nix of Nashville, Wyatt Brady of Nashville and Morgan Nix of Nashville.
The family asks that donations be made in her memory to First Baptist Church, Nashville, American Diabetes Association, or the National Kidney Foundation in lieu of flowers.
