He was predeceased by: his father Robert Bruce "R. B.". He is survived by: his wife Joan Hughes Shepard; his siblings, Bruce Shepard (Iris) and Karen Shepard of Nashville; his children, Joanne Potter (late Rob) of Alamogordo, NM, Robert Shepard of Nashville and Rebecca Shepard of Decatur, GA; his son-in-law Clint Hill; and his grandchildren, SrA Matthew Duke, Robin Hill and Eyler Hill. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
The family requests that everyone who attends the service or visitation please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to organizations close to Bobby's heart: Second Harvest of South Georgia food bank, The Caring Place, and Nashville United Methodist Church.
