He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucious Ernest Nix and Alma Harper Nix; and his brother James Lucious "Buddy" Nix. He is survived by: his wife Olivia Payne "Libby" Nix of Nashville; his daughter Linda Nix of Nashville; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Jilcott of Nashville and Macy Rogers of Nashville; and his great grandchildren, Wallace, Scarlett and Toby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
