He is survived by: his children, Julie Nix of Kennesaw and Kenny Nix of Nashville; his significant other Linda Gaskins Nix; his sister Judy Collins of Cumming; and his grandchildren, Amanda Giddens (Brian), Jessica Gurley, Kristen Desin (Trent), Stefan Allan and Kinzey Skellenger. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
