He was predeceased by: his brothers, Everett Bailey and Wesley Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Turner Bailey of Nashville; his children, Dale Vickers (Chad) of Alapaha, Kim Hughes (Tim) of Nashville and Al Bailey (Benjie McEntyre) of Fernandina Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Tyler Cowart, Darby Cowart, Bailey Hughes and Sam Hughes; his great grandchild Givens; and his brothers, Earl Bailey of Nashville and Lamar Bailey of Ocilla.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Betty Dupree Healthcare Center or the Berrien County Humane Society.
