He is survived by: his children, Daniel Purvis (Kate) of Dunnellon and Sandra Davis of Nashville; his close friend Margaret NeSmith of Nashville; and his siblings, Hilton Purvis of Willacoochee and Mary Alice Burch of Douglas. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
