We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2024, at the age of 74, Wayne Richard Williams (Nahunta, Georgia), born in Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Williams and Lily Mae Conwell Williams; his wife Janice Douberly Williams; and his siblings, Olvan Williams, Larry Williams, James Williams, David Williams, Lou Douberly, Betty Jones, Mattie McCormick, Gracie Lane and Brenda Sue Barnes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Alisha Rose Moore of Fernandina Beach, FL. and Stephanie Marie Babb of St. Mary's, GA.; and his grandchildren, Jordan "Papa' of Papa's Lil Man, C. J. "Papa' of Papa's Lil Sport, Hannah "Papa' of Papa's Sweet Rose, Moore, Kori Babb, Nathanial Babb, Levi Johnson and Wayne Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Frye Funeral Home (136 Satilla Ave, Nahunta, GA 31553). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
