He is survived by: his wife Linda Batten Carter of Hickox; his daughters, Connie Colley (Vance) of Patterson, Carole Ann Gill (Richard) of Hickox, Mary Lowther (Ed) of Hickox, Reada Harris (Christopher) of Hickox and Susan Thomas (Frank) of Hickox; his grandchildren, Austin Colley, Megan Colley, Mary Beth Dixon, Caroline Rebollo, Carter Lynn Teatsorth, Grace Ann Carelock, Walker Gill, Lindy Hall, Maggie Harris, Summer Colley, Kent Thomas, Zary Harris, Edie Lowther, Eli Thomas, Read Thomas, Josie Harris, Jayle Thomas, Tuff Lowther and Ander Harris; his great grandchild Andi Rebollo; his siblings, Tom Howard (Bonnie) of Hickox and Marty Morgan of Nahunta; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Willis of Hoboken, William Lee of Hoboken and Ruby Howard of Hickox.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riverside Chapel Baptist Church (1998 Riverside Rd, Nahunta, GA 31553). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Riverside Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery (1998 Riverside Rd, Nahunta, GA 31553).
