It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Van Allen Bailey of Nahunta, Georgia, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack Alton Bailey, Nora Louise Bailey, Frank Pierce Beddow and Janet Leonora Beddow. He is survived by: his parents, Jan Allen Bailey and Carolyn Leonora Beddow of Nahunta; his children, Noah Alexander Bailey of Jacksonville, Marlaina Marie Murphy (Jonathan) of Jacksonville and Kayla Ann Bowman (David) of Live Oak; his grandchildren, Bailey Jane Murphy, Kade Russell Bowman, Kaia Ann Bowman and Darrell Bowman; his sister Valerie June Hodge of Atkinson; and his nephews, Aaron Tapley (Kristin) of Atkinson and Dalton Hodge of Atkinson.
