Talan James Tanner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2024, at the age of 17, Talan James Tanner of Nahunta, Georgia, born in Brunswick, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather James Charles Highsmith; and his great-grandparents, Ellis "Big E" Courson, Ellis Hilton Highsmith and Alma Johns Highsmith. He is survived by: his parents, Jessica Melissa Highsmith Tanner of Nahunta and Michael Tanner; his sister Brylie Alma Melissa Tanner; his grandmothers, Sherri Courson Rowell of Nahunta and Renee Strickland (Steven) of Blackshear, GA.; his great-grandparent Chloe Courson Corbett (Jimmy) of West Green, GA; his aunts and uncles, Lisa Johnson (Branden) of West Olive, Ronnie "Lee" Long (Veronica) of Louisiana, Philip Long (Jessica) of Blackshear, Bobby Tanner (Ashley) of Hoboken, Ramey Rowell (Tabitha) of Brunswick and Chloe'Staggs (Jordan) of Waycross; and his cousin Axton Link Rowell of Nahunta.

Talan was a member of The Foundation, he was a very active teenager and a fantastic athlete.
