With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Chesser of Nahunta, Georgia, born in Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sherrod Chesser and Lillie Mae Moore Chesser; his son Christopher Dewayne Chesser; and his brothers, Harry Chesser and Charles Chesser.
He is survived by: his son Harrison Levi Chesser; his grandson Travis Pittman of Nahunta; his sisters, Melissia Howe of Thalmann, Ruby Moody (Jerry) of Hortense and Hazel Farrill of Nahunta; his close friends, Bobby and Debra Crews; and his former wife Diann Chesser of Nahunta. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. And a host of friends.
