He is survived by: his wife Ruth Roberson Jones; his children, Phillip Jones (Barbara), Gary Jones (Lynn) and Suzanne Manning (ES); his grandchildren, Shannon Jones of Atlanta, GA, Rebecca Musgrove (Jason) of Waycross, GA, Callie Cox (Stevie) of Waycross, GA, Austin Blocker of Nahunta, GA, Lily Blocker of Nahunta, GA, Erin Jones of Sevierville, TN, Trey Jones (Amber) of Knoxville, TN, Megean Miller of Pooler, GA, Keegan Harden (Elizabeth) of Cape May, NJ and Sarah Turlington (John) of Patterson, GA; and his siblings, John Jones (Linda) and Kathy Jones. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Satilla Missionary Baptist Church (802 Satilla Church Rd, Hortense, GA 31543). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
