He is survived by: his brothers, David Carter, Jr. (Michelle) of Nahunta, John Wesley Carter (Mary) of Brunswick and Edward Carter (Kelly) of Brunswick; his pet Max; his niece Krystalin Franklin (Roy) of Brantley; and his nephews, Jeffery Herndon of Waynesville, John Wesley Carter, Jr. of Waynesville and James Cox (Nicki) of Waynesville.
