He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ingram Thomas and Gladys Fowler Thomas; his children, Gene Thomas and Janice Thomas Kirkland; and his sister Mary Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Doris Keenum of Slidel, LA., Gail Ray of Nahunta, Linda Vaughn (Mike) of Savannah, Darlene McWhorter (Larkin) of Waynesville and Casey Brown (Jenny) of Waynesville; his sister Nancy Thomas Phillips of Rome, GA.; and his nephews, Breck Phillips of Rome, GA and Ricky Phillips of Rome, GA. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren.
