She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Issac Goolsby; her husband James C. Vickers; her children, Joyce Marlyn Vickers and James Ira Vickers; her grandson Ricky Whidden; and her siblings, Wilma Selph, Aurelia Hawkins, Neil Goolsby, Watson Goolsby, Donald Goolsby and Roy Goolsby.
She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Whidden (Owen); her sister Frances Helen Goolsby Sapp of Nahunta, GA.; her grandchildren, April Whidden Torrence (Mark), Bryan Whidden, James "Jimmy" Vickers, Jr. (Shelly), Jason Vickers (Geneva), Amber Vickers, Joseph and John Swierzko; and her great grandchildren, Gavin Whidden, Devina Whidden, Bayne Whidden, Alysce Whidden, Kayley Torrence, Jacelyn Torrence, Bryan Whidden, Jr., Sabrina Vickers, Evelyn Vickers, Tyler Vickers, Dalton Vickers, Timmy Vickers, Olivia Vickers and Shrader Vickers.
