She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Strickland and Lena Jacobs Strickland; and her sisters, Myra Raulerson and Jane Strickland. She is survived by: her husband Jackie Tumlin; her son Curtis; her daughter-in-law Roxie Tumlin of Nahunta; her daughter Selena Tumlin of Nahunta; her grandchildren, Julia Tumlin (Brandon) and C. J. Tumlin; her great grandchildren, Cooper Dixon, Canaan and Brooks Green; her brother Dr. A. W.; her sister-in-law Rose Mary Strickland of Raybon; and her sister Arlene Bass of South Carolina.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Frye Funeral Home (136 Satilla Ave, Nahunta, GA 31553). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
