He is survived by: his mother Jessie Higgs Pierce of Waycross; his daughter Jessica Sweat of Waycross; his grandchildren, Trey Pierce, Tyler Pierce, Katie Pierce and Mara Sweat; his brother Mark Pierce of Waycross; his nephews, Dereck Threatt of Douglas and Chandler Pierce of Waycross; and his close friend Denise Hatcher Pierce of Folkston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
