She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lee Dowling and South of Georgia; and her sister Shirley Corbitt. She is survived by: her husband Liston Thomas of Nahunta; her children, Joshua Thomas (Coralee) of Hickox, Jeffrey Thomas (Cathy Henderson) of Hickox and Julie Ruis (Mark) of Waynesville; her grandchildren, Cody Thomas (Kimi), Dillon Thomas (Lizzy), Christina Thomas (Thomas Hall), J. D. Thomas, Alyssa Thomas, Sky Thomas, Joseph Henderson, Perry Henderson (Sierra), Cathy Henderson, Victoria Henderson, Jessica Thomas, Sgt. Jordan Clark (Caleb), Marrisa Brockway, Spenser Little and Elijah Thomas; and her sisters, Reditha Shaw (Mack) and Becki Brown (Jim). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
