He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Harris; his children, Benjamin Harris (Nikki) of Musella and Pandora Horton (Gary) of Gray; his siblings, Charlie Frank Harris (Betty) of Musella, Nancy Sneathen (Carl) of Atlanta and Ann Gillespie (Charlie) of Athens; his sister-in-law Allene Harris of Athens; his grandchildren, Broc Harris (Bailey) of Musella, Victoria Horton-Roark (Michael) of Macon and Rebekah Horton of Gray; his great grandchildren, Emig Harris of Musella and Ezra Harris of Musella; his stepdaughter Cheryl Sapp; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer Sapp, Matthew Sapp and Stacy Califf; his niece Kathy Ivey (Mike); his nephews, Kelly Ivey and Scott Ivey (Laticia); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Allie and Lucas; and also, John Robert Harris, Sr., Lillian Lucille Ross Harris, John Robert Harris, Jr., Clara Harris, Margaret, Billy Harris, William F. Harris, Eleanor Harris, Betty Harris, Patsy, Phil Andrews, Hinton J. Harris, Doris H., Lamar Almgren, Joyce H., Daniel Hortman, Richard, Jean McLeod and Allen Sneathen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 365 S Dugger Ave, Roberta, GA 31078. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Musella Baptist Church (5430 US-341, Musella, GA 31066).
