He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Lavan and Lilliebell Tapp Burtz; and his sister Brenda Lee Caddell. He is survived by: his children, Shane Burtz (Nancy), Stacy Burtz, Scott Burtz (Stephanie) and Sunny Howington (Kent); and his uncle Ben Tapp. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous relatives and lifelong friends.
