She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Grindle and Beatrice Chambers Grindle; her husband James Gearin; her son Clifford Gearin; and her granddaughter Rainey Gearin.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Sanchez (Robert) of Murrayville and Gene Gearin of Gainesville; her daughter-in-law Carrie Gearin; her siblings, Donald Grindle (Lorraine) of Oakwood, Fred Grindle (Sherry) of Gillsville and Willie Mae Presley of Toccoa; and her grandchildren, Jessica Neal (Matt), Nichole Hogan (Matt) and Chris Gearin. She is also survived by grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
