She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smallwood and Monteen Edge Smallwood; her husband David Adams; her sons, Jerry Adams, Jackie Adams and Johnny Adams; her granddaughter Hannah Adams; and her siblings, Ruth Smallwood, Ruby Smallwood and Bobby Smallwood.

She is survived by: her son Jarvis Adams (Teresa); her grandchildren, Scott, Lisa Adams, Christie, Mike Ragano, Karen Horton, Tim Adams, Brett Adams, Shannon, Paul Furnas, Josh and Selena Adams; her sister Cassie Gilleand; her brother-in-law Aaron Gilleand; her sister Carolyn Cain; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Smallwood, Juanita Adams, Jean Clark and Junior Garmon. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
