He was predeceased by: his mother Vadie Bowman Pilgrim; his wife Christine Thrasher Pilgrim; his siblings, Andrew Pilgrim, Bobby Pilgrim and Vera Scarbough; and his brother-in-law Roger Lynn Thrasher.
He is survived by: his father Lewis Pilgrim; his daughter Margo Garner; his grandchildren, Michael Pilgrim, Kristie Garner and Christopher Garner (Beth); his great grandchildren, Jayla Smith and Khai Webber of Murrayville; his grandchildren, Georgia Garner, Tristin Garner and Angie Garner of Hull; and his brother Bruce Pilgrim of Jefferson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
